This is a statement on domestic violence.This painting was done after a close friend lost his life in a domestic violence situation. He wouldn't get away, he wouldn't leave, until it was too late. Until the end, he believed that love would find a way, he believed that he couldn't just walk away. In the end, the ambulance carried his body away. He is the white, she is the red, and the blue background is the space that they inhabited together.
