The image of the dancer is one
that has resonance for me. I've explored this dancer in "Ovum", now I'm
exploring her again, and she might just appear in another painting.
his work is about not just the conception of a child, but
also about
the conception of ideas.
She is faceless because she is one woman, yet she is all women. She is
not only capable of birthing new life, she is capable of changing the
world. She is bursting with life, in her heart, her mind and her body.
There is nothing that she cannot dream; there is no challenge that she
cannot find a way to overcome.
