This work is about an integral, yet often ignored, part of being a woman, the menstrual cycle. These years of fertility are the years of our youth, of new motherhood, of being a part of a miraculous and mysterious thing. The pregnant dancer is ecstatic in her joy, happy with the life within her. She is faceless because she is one woman, yet she is all women. She is the cauldron of life, where the new life is nourished with her blood.
