Life is persistent; growing in environments that at one time it wasn't thought possible to support life, yet there it is. This work represents that persistent life. From the mats of bacteria framing the copper, to the close up of the bacteria themselves, represented by the silver surrounded glass on copper There are many layers of wax, with the life forms through out all of the layers.
