This is an encaustic of the Great Goddess, She is who we humans first worshipped. This work encorporates recycled objects. Things that were going to be thrown away, and now have new life with Her. Goddess worship is on the rise world wide, as humanity has found the patriarchial system is no longer working. Patriarchy is an elitist system, whereas matriarchy is egalitarian. Patriarchy is militaristic, whereas matriarchy is not. Humanity is increasingly becoming tired of the relatively recent system of patriarchy, and is slowly returning to the long held values of the Goddess, our Mother Earth, and the inherent equality to be found there. No mother wants her children to die, no mother wants her children to suffer.
