Encaustic and shellac on
birch panel 24" x 24" $600
Dementia is a thief in the night, the worst identity thief that there
is. Dementia takes all that is dear, spouse, children, family and
friends. It takes the memories of who we were, and the things that we
have done. The rot that overtakes and destroys memory is depicted in
this image by metal from a 1958 Cadillac Fleetwood hearse.Gold
and Ivory black pigmented shellac as well as purple, criss cross this
image; this image is also what a coroner finds during the autopsy of an
Alzheimer's victim.
