Painted on copper, this is about the struggle to live with, and love, an addict. It's about anything that tears us apart, that renders our lives asunder. It's about what happens to the human psyche after enduring massive pressures for far too long. It's about a people ripped from their homes, about all of the things that rend a person, that tears at a family, that scatters and displaces whole peoples. It is about the divide that cold thoughts create between people and nations.
